To show that -2, \: -5 are the zeroes of the polynomial {x}^{2} + 7x + 10

We plug in these values and verify if the output comes to be 0 .

 {( - 2)}^{2} + 7( - 2) + 10

4 - 14 + 10 = 0

Hence, -2 is a zero of this polynomial.

 {( - 5)}^{2} + 7( - 5) + 10

25 - 35 + 10 = 0

Hence, -5 is a zero of this polynomial.
