Given :  function y = 4x - 9

To Find : Show that function  is increasing for all x ∈ R

Solution:

y = 4x - 9

=> dy/dx = 4

4 > 0

=> dy/dx > 0  for x ∈ R

as its independent of value of x

Hence  function  is increasing for all x ∈ R
