Answer: The differences between sketch, plan and map as follows -
• Sketch : In the field of geography the sketch is the hand-drawn pictorial representation of a real geographical landscape.A sketch doesn't follow any kind of geographical scales.
On the other hand,
• Plan : In the field of geography ,the plan is a set of diagrams or instructions which are important for proper determination of a place, an object or geographical activities.
And finally,
• Map : The map is the graphical representation (two dimensional) of a geographical region which describes many important geographical elements of that particular region, through the graphical representation itself. The map always follows a geographical scale,unlike the sketch.
