y=4 - x

4 x - y = 56

(putting the value of y in this equation)

4x - 4 - x =56

3x - 4 = 56

3x = 60

x = 60/3

x= 20

y = 4-x

(putting x=20 in the above equation)

y = 4 - 20

y = -16

x = 20

y = -16
