Answer:

Hello Mate♥️♥️♥️

x+2y-4=0

=> x+2y=4 --------1

2x + 3y -7=0

=>2x+3y=7 ---------2

Solution:-

Value of x from equation 1

=> x=4-2y --------3

#Put the value of x in equation 2

=>2(4-2y)+3y=7

=>8-4y+3y=7

=>4y+3y=7-8

=>-y=-1

#Put the the value of y in equation 3

=>x=4-2(1)

=>4-2

=>2

Hence,x=2,y=1

What is substitution method?

》 It's a method of solving equation in some variable which the whole equation is expressed in one variables by finding the relation of one variable with other.

\bf{\underline{\underline{\red{SOLUTION}}}}

x+2y-4=0

or, x+2y=4

\implies{\bold{\boxed{\blue{x=4-2y----i}}}}

2x+3y-7=0

or, 2(4-2y)+3y-7=0

or, 8-4y+3y-7=0

or, 1-y=0

thus,

\implies{\large{\boxed{\green{y=1}}}}

putting value of y in i,

x=4-2y

or, x=4-2×1

or, x=4-2

\implies{\large{\boxed{\green{x=2}}}}
