Answer:

1 - Let the number of marbles parmit have be x.

= x + 5x + 7 = 37

= x + 5x = 37 - 7

= x + 5x = 30

= 6x = 30

= x = 30\6

= x = 5

Answer - Parmit has 5 marbles.

2 - Let the age of Laxmi be x years.

= 3x + 4 = 49

= 3x = 49 - 4

= 3x = 45

= x = 45/3

= x = 15

Answer - Age of Laxmi is 15 years.

Let the number of fruit trees be x.

= 3x + 2 = 77

= 3x = 77 - 2

= 3x = 75

= x = 75 / 3

= x = 15

Answer - The number of fruit trees is 15.
