Answer:

3x + 2y =  - 4

x + 3y = 1

3x + 9y = 3

 - 7y =  - 7

y = 1

then \: x =  - 3 \times 1 + 1

x =  - 2

Answer:

3x + 2y =- 4

x + 3y =1

so from this

(x + 3y = 1) x 3

= 3x + 2y = -4 1

and 3x + 9y = 3. 2

subtract 1 from 2

y = 1. and x = -2
