(1) In triangle XYZ, angle XYZ = 90°,
angle YXZ = 60°, angle YZX = 30° and
XY = 4 cm then find XZ.

Given : ΔXYZ
∠XYZ = 90° , ∠YXZ = 60° , ∠YZX= 30°
XY = 4 CM
To find = XZ
Solution :
In ΔXYZ, with base YZ and ∠YZX= 30° that is equal to \theta
\sin \theta = \frac{XY}{XZ} ( trigonometric ratios)
\sin 30^o=\frac{4 cm}{XZ}
\frac{1}{2}=\frac{4cm}{XZ}
XZ=4cm\times 2=8 cm
The length of XZ is 8 cm.
