3. Some solids diffuse in liquids but not in gasses, some solids diffuse in gasses but not in liquids. Why?​

there is less intermolecular space between particles of water than in air so particles of solid and liquid are packed tightly. and some solids diffuse in air because they need more intermolecular space that air can provide but water can not.
