GIVEN : -

Statement 1 -  Some 1 are 2.

Statement 2 - Some 1 are 3.

TO FIND :-

What is the conclusion?

SOLUTION:

Statement 1 -  Some 1 are 2.

This is a Particular affirmative statement/ premise.

Statement 2 - Some 1 are 3.

This is also a Particular affirmative statement/ premise.

Therefore, We cannot get an answer/conclusion from the two premises/ statements, as there is A Rule for deduction i.e, If both the premises are particular, no conclusion can be drawn.

Hence, Conclusion I:- Some 1 are either 2 is wrong

and Conclusion II:- Some 1 are 2 as well as 3 is also wrong.
