Hey there

MARK AS BRAINLIST

If the answer helps you

Let's start

QUESTION -

Sum of the ages of A and B is 33 years and the age of A is 7 less than the thrice of the

age of B. Find the ages of A and B.

Answer -

First write the given

---->A+B=33

---->A is 7 less than the thrice of the age of B

Now form the equations from the given data

Then

A=33-B-------(1)

Moreover

A=3B-7--------(2)

Now we got 2 equation both equal to A

So put these both equation equal

Then

33-B=3B-7

33+7=3B+B

40=4B

B=10

Now put the value of B in first equation

A=33-B

A=33-10

A=23

Hope it helped you

Answer:

Age of A=33

Age of B =33

Age of A is 7 less than B

Age of A= 33-7

=26

Thrice(3x) of age B

Age of A=26×3

= 78

Age of A=78

Age of B=33
