20th century has its own place in the history because of the great and even disastrous changes that took place including the two world wars, independence of many countries and formation of UNO.

Among all of them I feel the formation of UNO and the independence of India are the two things that should be remembered.

United Nations Organisation (UNO) was formed in 1945 after the world war 2. It is a kind of world government based on four principles : preserving peace,upholding human rights,respecting international law and promoting social progress. This was formed so as to prevent any further wars after the world wars. The world wars had a tremendous effect on most of the nations and its people. Many countries were worst affected with a loss of nearly 20% of population. In economic terms too the USSR lost heavily with destruction of cities, towns. The world faced multiple depressions. With the formation of UNO such kind of wars got prevented. So it can be an event which can be remembered.

India getting independence was a great breakthrough. People of India being under the rule of the British colonial power for nearly 200 years, faced many problems and got exploited. The happiness of the people knew no bounds. This can aslo be an event which can be remembered.

Internet have changed the life of everyone.Now a days everything is possible with internet.In my opinion internet is the change that should be remembered about the twentieth century.This invention has allowed the information travel from one place to other, communicate with friends and family and enhanced the peoples comfort.

First of all, we can retrieve the information through internet whenever it is needed.We can also travel the information from one to another through mails. For instance, I remember in my school days we use to go library to get the information. Sometimes it is time taking...
