Solution:-

The given force is 5N ad the diameter of the wheel is 1m as shown in the figure.

Now to calculate the Moment of force about centre O,

we need to calculate the perpendicular distance between point O and A.

Use the given formula to calculate the perpendicular distance.

r= diameter/2

= 1/2

0.5m

Moment force is a product of perpedicular distance and force

Calculate the force about centre O use the given formula

τo ​ =r*F=0.5×5=2.5 N m

Therefore the moment of force is 2.5N-m
