Here's Your Answer:

Let age of the person be x

Let sum of ages of two sons be y

Now,

x = 2y -----(1)

Five years ago,

(x-5) = 3(y-10) (2 Sons)

(2y-5) = 3y-30 ----[From (1)]

2y-3y = -30+5

-y = -25

y = 25 years

x = 2y

x = 50 years

Sum of ages of sons = 25 years

Age of the person = 50 years
