3. The angle of elevation of a jet fighter from point A on ground is 60°. After flying 10 seconds, the angle changes
to 30°. If the jet is flying at a speed of 648 km/hour, find the constant height at which the jet is flying.

Step-by-step explanation:

flight is just a flying at a speed of 648 km per hour

= 648000/3600  m/s

= 180 m/s

Distance covered in 10 secs = 180 * 10 = 1800  m

Height at which flying = H  m

H/Tan30 - H/Tan60  = 1800

=> H√3  - H/√3  = 1800

=> 3H - H = 1800√3

=> 2H = 1800√3

=> H = 900√3 = 1,558.8 m

the constant height at which the Jets flying = 900√3= 1558.8m

Answer:

h = 15.5 m

Step-by-step explanation:

[speed = 648 km/h

speed = 648 km/htime = 10s

speed = 648 km/htime = 10s speed = distance/time

speed = 648 km/htime = 10s speed = distance/time648 = d/ 10

speed = 648 km/htime = 10s speed = distance/time648 = d/ 10d = 6480km]

this is just an extra info

*rest is given in the attached pic
