Answer:

height of the tower=h

In one case

tan theta=h/x equation 1

In another case

tan(90-theta)=h/y

cot theta=h/y equation 2

Multiply equation 1 and equation 2

tan theta.cot theta=(h/x)(h/y)=h^2/(x.y)

1=h^2/(x.y)

h=√(x.y)
