Solution :-

The area of parallelogram is 9690sq.cm

One side of the parallelogram is 95cm

Here, We have to find the another side of parallelogram that is altitude of the parallelogram.

Let the height be xcm

As we know that,

Area of parallelogram = Base * Height

Put the required values,

9690 = 95 * x

x = 9690/ 95

x = 1938/ 19

x = 102

x = 102 CM

Hence, The height of the parallelogram is 102cm .

Given

  • Area of parallelogram = 9690 cm²
  • One of the side = 95 cm

To find

  • Corresponding altitude (height)

Solution

  • Area of parallelogram = Base × Height
  • 9690 = 95 × Height
  • Height = 9690/95
  • Height = 102

Hence, the height or corresponding altitude is 102 cm

Verification

  • Area =  Base × Height
  • Area = 95 × 102
  • 9690 = 9690
  • L.H.S = R.H.S
