Answer:

Perimeter of the rectangular field =2(l+b)

where l and b are the length and breadth of the rectangular field

⇒200=2(l+40)

⇒l+40=100

⇒l=60 m

Area of the rectangular field =lb

=60×40

=2400 m

Given :

  • Area of Rectangular field is 72 m²
  • Length of Field is 9 m .

To Find :

  • Breadth and Perimeter of Field.

Solution :

For Breadth :

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:Rectangle=length\times{breadth}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{70=9\times{b}}

\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{72}{9}=b}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{8=b}

So , The Breadth of Field is 8 m .

Now ,

\longmapsto\tt{Length=9\:m}

\longmapsto\tt{Breadth=8\:m}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(l+b)}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2(9+8)}

\longmapsto\tt{2(17)}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{34\:m}

So , The Perimeter of Rectangle is 34 m ....
