It is given that center of the

circle C ( - 6 , 4 ) .

Let OA is a diameter .

One end of the diameter is O( 0,0 )

Let the other end of the

diameter be A = ( x , y )

Midpoint of the diameter = Centre

of the circle

[ x1 + x2 /2 , y1 + y2 /2 ] = ( -6 , 4 )

=> ( 0 + x ) /2 = -6

=>But x/2 = -6 ,

x = 2 × ( -6 ) = -12

______________________

( 0 + y )/2 = 4

=> y = 2 × 4

=> y = 8

Therefore ,

( x , y ) = ( -12 , 8 )
