numerator by 3. If the numerator is increased by 7 and the
denominator is decreased by 1, the new number becomes
3/2. Find the original number.​

denominator =x+3

x/x+3

Acc to question,

x+7/x+3-1=3/2

x+7/x+2=3/2

x+7=(x+2)3/2

x+7=3x/2+3

x-3x/2=3-7

(2x-3x) /2=-4

-x=-4*2

-x=-8

x=8

Numerator =8

Denominator =8+3=11

Rational Number =8/11
