Answer: ∠1 = 31

              ∠2= 59

Step-by-step explanation:

Let ∠1 = x and let ∠2 = x+28

solve for ∠1

       x+ x+28 = 90 ---- (since the sum of complementary

                                    angle is equal to 90 degree.)

      2x+28= 90

      2x = 90-28

     2x =  62 ------(divide both side by 2.)

    2[2x = 62]2

        x =  62/2

   ∴  ∠1 = 31

*Using the value of  ∠1, we can now get the other angle.

solve for  ∠2

        ∠2 = x+28  ---- (from the given above)

        ∠2 = 31+28

        ∴ ∠2 = 59

Complementary angle is an angle whose sum is 90 degree.

    if   ∠1 = 31 and ∠2 = 59...

   ∴ 31 + 59 = 90 ✓
