Question

The four angles of a quadrilateral are in the ratio 1:2:3:4. Find the angles respectively?

Answer :

Let the angles of quadrilateral be

x, 2x, 3x , 4x

sum of all angles of quadrilateral = 360°

x + 2x + 3x + 4x = 360°

10x = 360°

x = 360/10 = 36°

Ans. the four angles are :-

x = 36°

2x = 2 × 36 = 72°

3x = 3 × 36 = 108°

4x = 4 × 36 = 144°

Answer:

36° ; 72° ; 108° ; 144°

Step-by-step explanation:

let the angle = x

Given ratio = 1:2:3:4

=> x+2x+3x+4x = 360°  ------- (sum of all angles of quadrilateral add up to 360°)

10x = 360°

x = 36°

therefore the angles are,

36° ; 72° ; 108° ; 144°
