Let the length, breadth and height of the cube be x, 2x and 3x respectively.

Then, volume = x × 2x × 3x = 6 x2

New length, breadth and height = 2x, 6x and 9x respectively.

Now volume = 108 x ³

Hence, increase in volume

= (108 - 6) x ³ = 102x ³

17 times of original volume.
