let the breadth of rectangle be x

according to given condition,

length=x+20

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

100=2[(x+20)+x]

100=2(x+20+x)

100÷2=(2x+20)

50=2x+20

2x=30

x=30÷2

x=15

therefore breadth of rectangle = 15 cm

therefore length of rectangle = x+20=15+20=35 cm

Hope, it helps u...

Thanks....

Answer:

Breadth =15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Length =20 +x

__________________________

Perimeter = 100 cm

__________________________

Breadth = x

==============

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

= 100 = 2(20+x+x)

= 100 = 2(20+2x)

= 100 = 40+4x

= 100-40 = 4x

= 60 = 4x

= 15 = x

= x = 15
