length=2x
breadth=x

Perimeter = 2*length+breadth
30=2*(x+2x)
30=2*3x
3x= 30/2
3x=15

x=15/3
x=5

If breadth=5
then,
length=5*2=10

length=10
breadth=5

area= length*breadth
= 5*10
=50cm sq

Hope This will help u...

Answer:

50

Step-by-step explanation:

length=2x

breadth=x

perimeter=30cm

so,

30=2*(l+b)

30=2*(2x+x)

30=2*3x

30/(2*3)=x

x=5

so,x=breadth=5cm

and

2x=length=2*5=10cm

area=l*b

10*5

=50cm^2
