Answer:

4x²-12x+9=0

Here a=4,b=-12 and c=-9

D = b² - 4ac

= (-12)² - 4× 4 × (-9)

= 144 - 16 × (-9)

D=144+144=288

Since,D>0 the roots are real and unequal.

OPTION B) REAL AND DISTINCT

4x²-12x+9 = 0

here...

a = 4

b = -12

c = 9

d = -4ac

=> d = (-12)²-4×4×9

=> d = 144-144

=> d = 0

since the discriminant is equal to 0

so the roots of the equation will be real and equal..

so option A is the right answer ✌️✌️✌️
