3. The perimeter of a square PQRS is twice the perimeter of a AABC of sides 13 cm, 12 cm and 5 cm.
Find the area of the square.

Perimeter of Square PQRS = 2 × Perimeter of ABC

Perimeter of ABC:

 = (13 + 12 + 5)cm

 = 30cm

Perimeter of PQRS :

 = 2 \times 30cm

 = 60cm

Length of one side of PQRS:

 =  \frac{60}{4} cm = 15cm

Area of PQRS:

Area =  {length}^{2}  =  {15}^{2}  = 225 {cm}^{2}
