Let the lengths of the adjacet side be 2 and 3x respectively.

Also,perimeter=50cm

2(2x + 3x) = 50cm

10x = 50cm

x =  \frac{50}{10}  = 5cm

Thus, the adjacent sides of parallelogram are 10cm and 15cm

Hence area =

15 \times 10 = 150cm{}^{2}
