3. The sides of a triangle are 16 cm, 12 cm and 20 cm. Find :
(i) area of the triangle
(ii) height of the triangle,corresponding to
the largest side
(iii) height of the triangle corresponding to the smallest side

Answer:

smallest side =12cm

b=12

now,

area of triangle=1/2×b×h =96cm^2

so 1/2×12×h=96cm^2

h=96/12

h=16cm
