3. The sides of a triangular land are in the ratio of 28 : 25:17. If the perimeter of the land is 140 m then find the area of the land. Also, find the cost of vegetable plantation at the rate of Rs 15 per sq. m.​

perimeter of triangle=a+b+c

140=28x+25x+17x

140=70x

x=2

then, a=56m

b=50m

c=34m

semi perimeter of triangle=a+b+c/2

= 56+50+34/2

= 140/2

=70m

Area of triangle= √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

=√70(70-56)(70-50)(70-34)

= √70×14×20×36

=√705600

= 840

The cost of vegetable plantation at the rate of Rs15 = 840×15

= 12600
