\sf Given :

Principal = 800 Rs

Rate of Interest = 10%

Time = 2years /annum

Find :

  • Simple Interest

  • Using :

S.I or Simple Interest in the image which I had given above

  • Solving :

\sf ✵S.I = \frac{P \times \: R \times T}{100}✵

substitute the Given values in the formula we get

\sf\begin{gathered}S.I = \frac{800 \times 10 \times 2}{100} \\ S.I = \frac{16000}{100} \\ S.I = 160 \: Rs\end{gathered}

S.I=160Rs

Therefore, the simple interest on Rs 800 at 10% interest per annum for 2 years is 160 Rs
