multiply equation 1 by 2 and equation 2 by 3

3x + y = -1

6x + 2y = -2 ---> 3

2x - 3y = -8

6x - 9y = -24 --->

Solving 3 and 4

6x + 2y = -2

6x - 9y = -24

substitute the value of y = 2 in equation 1
