Answer:

Explanation:

The narrator is flying an aeroplane and dreaming to have breakfast with his family once he lands. Suddenly he passes through deep black clouds. His airplane controls fail. He then spots a nearby man in an aeroplane signalling him. He follows him and reaches safely. He had noticed a row of lights which was the runway.

Once he lands, he goes to a receptionist and asks about the pilot. The receptionist fixes him with a blank look,"Sir, what are you talking about? There was no plane in the air other than yours." The narrator feels confused. He goes to his room and ponders. He had definitely seen a man waving at him. He tries to recall his face but fails. He ends up with an headache. He lies in bed but sleep evades him. He decides to pour himself a drink.

He walks along the balcony with the drink taking occasional sips. He thinks of the man. He definitely had blond hair just like him. As he returns to his room, he falls into a deep slumber. He had a dream. He was flying his plane and the controls broke down. Just before he went down he saw himself in an opposite plane. He wakes up sweating.

Realization dawns on him that in the heat of the moment he must have imagined his rational self on the opposite plane. It kept him sane and calm enough to land his plane. He smiles a little and prepares to have breakfast with his family.
