Given :-

The surface area of a cube = 1350 cm

To Find :-

The volume of the cube.

Analysis :-

Firstly, we have to find the side of the cube.

In order to find that, we have to substitute the values we have in the formula of TSA.

Then substitute the values in the formula of volume of a cube in order to find it's cube.

Solution :-

We know that,

  • a = Side
  • TSA = Total Surface Area

By the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Total \ surface \ area=6a^2}}

Given that,

Total surface area (TSA) = 1350 cm

Substituting their values,

6a² = 1350

a² = 1350/6

a² = 225

a = √225

a = 15 cm

Therefore, the side of the cube is 15 cm.

By the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Volume \ of \ cube=a^3}}

Substituting their values,

= 15³

= 15 × 15 × 15

= 3375 cm³

Therefore, the volume of cube is 3375 cm³.

Question 3 :-

The surface area of cube is 1350 cm . Find the volume of the cube .

AnSWeR :-

TSA of cube = 6a²

=> 1350 = 6 × a²

=> a² = 1350/6

=> a² = 225 cm

=> a = √225

=> a = 15 cm

Hence , the side of the cube is 15 cm

Volume of cube = a³

=> 15³

=> 15 × 15 × 15

=> 3375 cm³

Hence , the volume of cube is 3375 cm³
