Solution :-

→ Train arrives at Ahmedabad station = 6 : 45 PM

→ Train departs at = 7 : 20 PM .

so,

→ Train stopped at Ahmedabad station = Train departs time - Train arrive time = 7 : 20 - 6 : 45 = 6 : (60 + 20) - 6 : 45 = 6 : 80 - 6 : 45 = 35 minutes (Ans.)

Question 2) :- Nayan plays different games in the play ground from 6.15 to 7.00 in the morning and from 7.30 to 8.15 in the evening. So, how long does Nayan play the games ?

Solution :-

→ Total time Nayan plays games in morning = 7:00 - 6:15 = 6:60 - 6:15 = 45 minutes .

and,

→ Total time Nayan plays games in evening = 8:15 - 7:30 = 7:(15+60) - 7:30 = 7 : 75 - 7 : 30 = 45 minutes .

therefore,

→ Total time taken by Nayan in playing = 45 + 45 = 90 minutes = 1 hour , 30 minutes .(Ans.)
