let let the radius of big sphere be R

then radius of small sphere = r

volume of big sphere=4/3πR³

volume of small sphere = 4/3πr³

*GIVEN RATIO* = 64:27

4/3πR³ 64

_____= ___

4/3πr³ 27

R³/ r³ = (4/3)³

so,

R= 4cm

r=3 cm

surface area of big sphere =4πR²

surface area of small sphere = 4πr²

RATIO =

4πR²/4πr² = 4/3

by cancelling 4π

we get

R²/r² =4/3

so,

ratio = 16/9

or

16:9
