Let's start with Newton's second law of motion: F=ma

If F = 60 Newtons and we want mass, then we should fix that equation to solve for it.

m=F/a

Now, just insert your numbers.

60 N/(9.8 m/sec^2) = 6.12 kg

Since mass is constant no matter the effects of gravity, our answer is that your object has a mass of 6.12 kilograms on the moon.

F=ma so m=F/a

m=60 N / 9.81 m/s^2 = 6.12 Kg on earth, and since mass is constant, on the moon the object would have a mass of 6.12 Kg.
