3. There are some cans, each containing 5 litres of milk. The mil
in each vessel is used to fill 6 identical bottles.
(i) How much milk is there in each bottle?
(ii) How much milk in 3 such bottles?

Solution:

Milk in Vessel  = 5 liter

Milk in each vessel is used to fill 6 identical bottles.

Hence Milk in 6 identical bottles. = 5 liter

=> Milk in 1 bottles. = 5/6   liter

Milk in 3 bottles = 3 * 5/6  = 5/2  liters

Milk in 12 bottles = 12 * 5/6  = 10  liters

Milk in each bottle = 5/6 liter

Milk in 3 bottles = 5/2  liter

Milk in 12 bottles = 10 liter
