The answer is 54 bottles.

GIVEN

Volume of water in a container =

32 \frac{3}{9} l

Volume of bottles = 3/5l

TO FIND

How many bottles of 3/5 L capacity can be filled

from the container?

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

It is given,

Volume of water in the larger container =

32 \frac{3}{9} l

For simplicity, We will convert the given mixed fraction into improper fraction,

Further converting into decimals;

 32 \frac{3}{9}  = 32.3l

Capacity of 1 bottle = 3/5l = 0.6l

Now,

0.6l of water can be filled in 1 bottle.

1 litre of water can be filled in, 1/0.6 bottles.

Therefore,

32.3 litres of water can be filled in, 32.3/0.6 = 53.8 bottles.

Rounding off the value

53.8 ≈ 54 bottles.

Hence, The answer is 54 bottles.
