m1=10kg m2=30kg
y1=7cm y2=?
The centre of mass raised by 1cmm
centre of mass = m1+m2m1y1+m2y2
1 = 10+3010×7+30×y2
40=70+30y2
y2=−1
So, m2=30kg body should be displaced 1cm downward ,so as to raise the centre of mass
