3. Two vertices of a triangle are (2, 1) and (5, 2) and centroid is
(10/3,7/3). Find the third vertex.​

Centroid =

{(X1 +X2 +X3)÷3 , (y1 +y2 + y3 )÷ 3}

(10/3,7/3)= {(2+5+x )÷3 , (1+2+y)÷3}

1. (7+x) ÷3 = 10/3 |( 3+y) ÷3 = 7/3

2. 7+ X= 10 | 3+y =7

3 X=10-7. | Y = 7-3

4. X= 3. | Y= 4

Therefore the third vertex is (3,4).

In step 1 both sides 3 are cancelled.
