Answer:

b) left auricle ✔

Explanation:

In the heart the two anterior chambers which receive blood are auricles and the two posterior distributing chambers are ventricles.

Right auricle:

  • It is the upper chamber of the heart in humans which has deoxygenated blood. The right auricle receives the oxygenated blood from all parts of the body with the help of the main vein.

Right ventricle:

  • Right ventricle also contains deoxygenated blood. It is the lower chamber of the heart. The deoxygenated blood is poured into the right ventricle from the right auricle and then is sent to the lungs for oxygenation.

Left auricle:

  • Left auricle is the upper chamber of the heart which contains oxygenated blood. From the lungs oxygenated blood is poured into left auricle.

Left ventricle:

  • Left ventricle is a lower chamber of the heart. Oxygenated blood from left auricle is forced into left ventricle, which on contraction supplies oxygenated blood to all parts of the body with help of arteries.
