x^2- 4x +3=0

x^2 -3x-x+3=0

x(x-3)+1(x-3)=0

(X+1)(x-3)=0

either (x+1) =0 or (x-3) =0

x=-1or x=3

Hope it helps u

We must recall that:

In algebra, a quadratic equation is any equation that can be rearranged in standard form as ax^{2}+bx+c=0 where x represents an unknown, and a, b, and c represent known numbers, where a ≠ 0.

x^2-4x+3=0\\x^2 -3x-x+3=0\\x(x-3)+1(x-3)=0\\(x+1)(x-3)=0\\either (x+1) =0 or (x-3) =0\\x=-1or x=3
