To Find : value of W3

(a) 10

(b) 9

(d) 1

Solution:

7 numbers would be

1 , 3 , 9 , 27 , 81 , 243 , 729 ,

Adding all we get 1093

3 - 1 = 2

3 + 1 = 4

9 - 3 - 1 = 5

9 - 3 = 6

9 - 3 + 1 = 7

9 - 1 = 9

and so on

till 1093

1 , 3 , 9 , 27 , 81 , 243 , 729

W1 = 1

W2 = 3

W3 = 9

W4 = 27

W5 = 81

W6 = 243

W7 = 729

Hence W3 = 9
