Pollinating agents are animals such as insects, birds, and bats; water; wind; and even plants themselves, when self-pollination occurs within a closed flower. Pollination often occurs within a species. When pollination occurs between species it can produce hybrid offspring in nature and in plant breeding work.

Answer:

When the pollination is carried out with the help of animals it is known as zoophilous type of cross pollination.

The plants which carry out zoophilous type of pollination have flowers with hairy pollen grains so they can stick to the body of animals.

When these animals come in contact with the flowers of another plant they deliver the pollen to its stigma

Agents :

Pollinators range from physical agents, especially the wind (wind pollination is called anemophily), or biotic agents such as insects, birds, bats and other animals (pollination by insects is called entomophily, by birds ornithophily, by bats chiropterophily).
