At the time of the First World War, India was being ruled the British who had participated in the war. As we know the British primarily used the resources of India for trade and profit. But, during the war, India was greatly being exploited of resources which were constantly being drained in the war. The British also recruited a lot of Indian soldiers for the war and many Indians lost their lives. The mass exploitation of human resources as well as materials from India caused a great impact on the economy of India.
