Nucleoid is a region in a prokaryotic cell, where it's most of the genetic material resides. It is not a well-defined membrane bound region. Nucleus is bound with double membrane in eukaryotic cell in which most of the genetic material is present. Nucleolus is the largest structure present in the nucleus. Ribosome synthesis and assemblage occurs in nucleolus region.
