Note:

By the property of parallelogram, sides of parallelogram are parallel and equal.

⇒Perimeter of parallelogram,

= 2 ( sum of sides )cm

= 2 ( 5 + 4 )cm

= 2 ( 9)cm

= 18cm.

Hence, perimeter of parallelogram is 18cm.
