3 A- palm tree is tall and strong therefore it has a feeling of superiority. the poem celebrates human nature. it shows the arrogance of being long. it depicts and portrays the desire to fly. he mistakes his leaves for wings. the poem is about the illusion nurtured by the palm tree out of arrogance, superiority,  and overconfidence. we at also try to become someone else. we should not forget our roots.

4 A- the mood/atmosphere of the poem is sentimental as the poet adds a lot of feelings for the palm tree. the poet is trying to add a relaxing effect to the poem as well.

5 A- The palm tree is a beautiful poem by Dr. Rabindranath Tagore.  The poem literally expresses the desire of the Palm tree to fly high than the clouds. Though it wants to climb high yet it understands its connection with Mother Earth.  The root connectivity is really honored by the tree.
