3. What is the sum of the measures of the angles of a convex quadrilateral? Will this property
hold if the quadrilateral is not convex? (Make a non-convex quadrilateral and try!)

Answer:

To find the measure of sum of angles in a polygon, we use the following formula:-

(n-2)180 where ‘n’ is the number of sides

Polygon given is a QUADRILATERAL

Number of sides in a quadrilateral = 4

⇒ (n-2)180

(4-2)180

(2)180

360° = Sum of angles

Yes, this property will hold if the quadrilateral is not convex, i.e. concave because the number of sides in the polygon would remain same and the sum of angles depends on the number of sides of a polygon.

Hope it helps
